Florence Como is an award-winning artist from Lincoln, MA. Working mainly with watercolors, oils and acrylics, she draws her inspiration from the ever-changing beauty of nature, her greatest teacher. She paints a wide variety of subject matter with an emphasis on bold color and the play of light and shadow. Her travels and workshops in Italy have provided her with subjects which she loves to paint including people,
architecture and landscapes. Since her retirement from teaching, she has taken many classes and workshops with many nationally and internationally acclaimed painters. Florence is a member of many art organizations including the North Shore Arts Association where she is a juried artist member and the Rhode Island Watercolor Society where she is a signature member.
